Welcome to 22 Holly Rd in North Shores! ***THERE IS NO HEAT IN THE HOUSE***
OVERVIEW: Classic North Shores Beach House with 4BR, 2 and 1/2 BA, sleeps 11 comfortably, and a quick walk to the beach. There is a lovely screened-in porch with plenty of seating and a great open deck area for additional outside seating. There is plenty of private parking, a gas grill, an outdoor shower, and a lovely private yard. Great outdoor space for the kids to run around or for a family BBQ. Spacious outdoor shower, huge patio area w/ seating, full washer & dryer, and well-equipped kitchen. This home has no heat.
LOCATION: The beautifully situated home is also very private. North Shore guests have full access to the beautiful Atlantic Ocean Beach with approximately 2,200 feet of private shoreline. The private community beach, swimming pool (summer only), tennis courts, and marina are just a short walk away. The glorious new bike/ jogging path from Gordon's Pond through the wetlands to Lewes is conveniently nearby. North Shores is a quiet residential community with a 24/7 security patrol and a private beach (with lifeguards from Memorial Day through Labor Day). The beach is a short walk from the house, but renters who prefer not to walk or bike may park free in the lot next to the community swimming pool. This is an easy way to get to the beach if you bring equipment. North Shores has an ideal location between the Rehoboth boardwalk and Henlopen State Park. You can walk south for one mile along the beach from North Shores to the center of Rehoboth, with a boardwalk and a wide array of restaurants and shops. Teenagers can quickly get to the boardwalk and back on their own by foot or bike. Or you can head north, where five miles of undeveloped beach and the recently completed secluded bike and walking path lead to the lovely town of Lewes. A quick car ride to Rt. 1 brings you to the three sets of tax-free Tanger Outlets.

The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Summary: This is the kind of beach house we enjoyed when 3 generations of us vacationed in Rehoboth in the 80s and 90s. We found it wonderfully suited to our purposes again this year but not quite as well kept up as might have been wished and we fear its days are numbered as more and more Mega-Mansions replace "our kind" of vacation properties.

Summary: The house is a true beach house. Nothing fancy. Kind of like glamping. Some of the screens needed repair but the House had great screened porches. The window air conditioning creates a lot a white noise The private beach was great. Loved it.

Summary: Half of the house is an open screened in porch (which can’t be locked) which gives it an open cabin feel, but the close by beach, pool and tennis courts make it a nice place to stay when you have a family with varied ages.
